About the Ike Scott Fellowship

Created in 2011 in memory of Ike Scott, late Wright, Lindsey & Jennings LLP partner, the peer driven award recognizes outstanding members of the Pulaski County Bar Association who have demonstrated excellence in the practice of law and a commitment to serving the Bar.

The fellowship furthers the goals of the Pulaski County Bar Foundation by financially benefiting the mission of the Foundation to support charitable and educational activities which help promote the ideals of the Pulaski County Bar Association and the community by providing financial support to enhance the cause of justice. Such projects include educational events for the community to enhance the knowledge of the public about the legal system, scholarships for Arkansas law school students, continuing legal education for lawyers and judges, or other acts that carry out the purposes of the Foundation.

How to Nominate a Fellow Attorney for an Ike Scott Award

The Ike Scott Fellowship is an exemplary way to give back to our community and to honor fellow attorneys. You can help the Pulaski County Bar Foundation recognize outstanding attorneys by donating in the name of the individual to be honored or in honor of previous recipients of the award. Once a total of $1,000.00 has been raised, the attorney in whose name the funds were raised will be recognized at the monthly Pulaski County Bar luncheon with an award and commemorative certificate.

To nominate a fellow attorney for the award or to make a donation in the name of an attorney that has been honored previously contact Courtney C. McLarty at (501) 212-1336 or by email at cmclarty@wlj.com.
