The Dean R. Morley Scholarship is awarded every year to a UALR Bowen Law Student who demonstrates a commitment to practicing law in Pulaski County upon graduation. Brothers Judge Randy and Steve Morley established this scholarship to honor their father’s legacy. Dean Morley served as President of the Pulaski County Bar Association and served as a North Little Rock Judge. His life was committed to serving others. On September 29, the Pulaski County Bar Foundation held its First Annual fundraiser in the name of this worthy scholarship. PCBF Board Member Lauren Hoover served as Chairman of the Fish Fry and worked with a committee to ensure the event’s success. It was, indeed! The Fish Fry was attended by over 200 members of the Bar, Bench, and their guests. The Pulaski County Bar Foundation was honored today to present a check in the amount of $ 6,500 to Dean Michael Schwartz and the UALR Bowen School of Law, in the name of the Dean R. Morley Scholarship. Looking forward to our next Fish Fry in October, 2017.
